What’s it like working at Versace?

    AI summary of recent reviews
The Versace brand is world-renowned for luxury, and employees appreciate the opportunity to work with international visitors and the excellent customer service team. The experience gained in the luxury industry is also valued.

However, some potential areas for improvement include more comprehensive training, particularly for new staff, addressing concerns around management priorities and allowing more staff autonomy, updating facilities and product offerings to meet brand standards, and ensuring adequate staffing levels to maintain a high quality guest experience.

I was excited when I started because of the brand name and the reputation Versace has world wide but I wouldn't work there again unless the current owners sell it and move on!
The good thingsThe name Versace is renowned for LUXURY the world over, the location and the staff at Concierge and Guest Services are excellent
The challengesLack of training, terrible owners who spends very little with the up keep and maintenance of the hotel. They use hotel housekeeping to clean their houses. High staff turn over as managers seem not interested in training they expect everyone from day one to know everything about the place without staff guidance. It's well under staffed that means the quality of the guest stay is greatly affected. The owners of the Condominiums get in the way asking too much from the staff when the guests should be the main priority. The place is getting old and needs updating and refurbishment to make it look modern yet retain the Versace grandeur. The Senior Management is great but the Owners and owners representative don't let them manage anything they do needs approval even if it's for the benefit of the guests.
