What’s it like working at Chanel?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees enjoy working with beautiful products and being part of a prestigious luxury brand with rich history. The generous perks including discounts, free products, and awards nights are highly valued, along with regular training opportunities and a supportive team environment where colleagues work together towards goals.

However, there are some potential challenges, including management practices that can vary across levels with some micromanagement and inconsistent communication. Career progression can be difficult beyond horizontal moves, and employees work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations around sales targets and brand commitment.

    Toxic place to work .
The good thingsCustomers and free perfume
The challengesManagement and higher management. Wanting to be pushy towards customers to make sales to reach target on a daily basis. It’s not nice to be called at the last minute by an area manager to come in on your day off because a staff is running 10mins late member stuck in traffic . That is a manager responsibility to cover shifts herself .

Overall the best retail experience I have had, it's an incredible company to work with within the retail space. You get to meet lots of inspiring likeminded people, fun training across the nation. Lots of opportunities to grow!

The challengesPressure from senior management, always changes to KPI's.
