    Welcoming, supportive, productive.
The good thingsIn my time at Peter Pal I was quickly welcomed by not just the warehouse team where I primarily worked, but also the other areas of the building such as processing, accessioning, etc. A very healthy workplace environment and accommodating to specific needs/ hours.
    The challengesNothing comes to mind

Overall a decent place to work. Good people, challenging work.
The good thingsCouldn’t ask for a better bunch of people to share the work day with.
The challengesIt got a bit squeezy sometimes because the building isn’t quite big enough for the number of staff.

    Could be worse
The good thingsYou can get discounted books. Most of the co-workers are friendly. If you're desperate for a job you could do a lot worse.
The challengesThe building is terrible; if you have hyper-sensitive eyes you can see the power flicker when a laser printer or the air-conditioners kick in. The co-workers who aren't friendly can ruin your whole day in an instant. Everything in the server room needs replacing and there's no budget for it. Management's communication with IT varies between non-existent and lack-lustre and is frequently antagonising. Pay is better almost everywhere else.
