I've got 5 years in brand and content marketing, thinking of applying for a SEEK Senior Marketing Associate role in digital media. Never worked in media buying, but I do understand the basics. Just finished my MBA and a career break. Is it reasonable to negotiate for 30%+ salary on my next role? I was a product manager earning $130k before I took 2 years out to do my MBA full time. Hoping to test if the market would value stronger leadership credentials, anyone with experience on this? 😬

I finished my HSC last October and have never had a job. Since then, I’ve applied to nearly 100 places with barely any replies. Even big companies didn’t take me, and some required me to be 18. Now that I am, it’s still nothing. I’ve focused on gym roles related to my degree but had no luck. My parents keep criticising me despite my efforts, and it’s frustrating and really annoying me. Why is it this hard to get a job?

I’m a 21 year old male who has very mild autism. I would say socially I’m not always the best but am always willing to help customers. I work at Coles doing various things and the last 6-7 months has been mainly working by myself which I do like but the work itself is a massive overload. I just don’t know what to do and what else I’d even be interested in. I don’t fully believe in myself due to having autism and it makes me feel down sometimes.
