Don’t. Just don’t.
The good thingsGetting to go home. The few decent people I got to work with. Finally quitting.
The challengesNot being paid what a normal warehouse worker should be paid. Getting worked to the bone, even though we were always short staffed, The awful and stupid sales team who cant’t do their job, or who sadly aren’t trained correctly. The horrendous proprietors who didn’t care that we were understaffed and burnt out. You can’t expect the same amount of work to get done with less and less people. The stupid and ancient procedures Harvey Norman has. Maybe get with the times? No accountability. Sales people/proprietors would just blame everyone else, or just blame the warehouse as it seemed like the easier option. The Regionals and higher ups who were meant to help us but didn’t care either. Constantly being bombarded with stupid levels of stock, even though no stock is leaving the warehouse, again no one cared we couldn’t fit this stock, almost became an unsafe work place, and if it did reach an unsafe level, higher up didn’t care. Just. Awful.
