What’s it like working at Unisson Disability?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Unisson Disability stands out for its wonderful clients and the fulfilling nature of supporting them to achieve their goals. The organisation maintains a supportive and inclusive culture that celebrates diversity, while offering good work-life balance and flexibility. Employees particularly value their supportive co-workers and the positive team environment that has been cultivated.

However, there are areas for improvement, including the need for better communication between management and support workers. Some employees find the workload and competing deadlines challenging to manage. There are also opportunities to enhance career development and training programs, while working within the budget constraints typical of a not-for-profit organisation.

A not for profit only interested with the money, not the clients.
The good thingsOur clients, the work and my co workers.
The challengesThe management only see our clients as a cashcow instead of people with specific needs.

Exceedingly bad, Unisson talk the talk only. Can’t wait to get out, I will miss the clients.
The good thingsSupporting clients so they can reach goals.
The challengesThe management is terrible, Unisson does not deal with staff who treat others badly. Longterm DSP‘s fly under the radar, and are often unable to perform certain tasks. Some are pc illiterate but are not trained! Team leaders do not care about clients, they just want to fill shifts and be left alone.
