You learn a lot for little reward
The good thingsPeople who are knowledgeable about the products. The exposure you have to the industry overall. Some people are willing to help, some aren't. Working with colleagues and customers of different backgrounds enable you to build your people skills.
The challengesDealing with changes in management which means the goalposts change. The fact that the people who are paid the most do the least work so, the hard workers have to work harder.
