Relaxing, friendly environment. Occasionally frustrating when our neighbours have events on.
The good thingsI've enjoyed the working environment the most-My coworkers are all very friendly and the store itself is kept to a fairly high standard in regards to cleanliness. As a Delivery Driver you are expected to help around the store when not on deliveries but nothing you are tasked to do is particularly difficult. The store tends to be get extremely busy on Saturdays after around 6 PM so expect to be taking up to 3 orders at a time.
The challengesParking-The store has it's own dedicated parking lot off to the side of the store, but this lot is frequently used by those attending events at the Jieh Community Club next door. Only employees and those picking up orders from our store are allowed to park in this lot, and it is a tow-away zone for those who aren't an employee or picking up orders. On days where this community club has events finding parking in our parking lot is next to impossible, and it makes our job far harder when we occasionally have to park on the street instead of our lot.
