Amazing place, filled with great people, pets in the office and a real energy to be great. Great work life balance, great systems and infrastructure, very positive environment where everyone has a chance to thrive if they want too. Lots of learning is there if you want to take advantage of.
The good thingsPetSure is a leader is Pet Insurance. Their commitment to driving best practice is inspiring. PetSure makes significant investment into systems and tech which means you are always learning. PetSure's worklife balance is amazing and family is valued more than most companies i've worked at.

The challengesNo career development. Team leaders and not experienced and back lack of coaching. Unrealistic KPIs which set you up for failure and never meet target, meaning that you were never a “satisfactory worker”.

Excellent mid-sized company with wholesome perks and a great launch pad into a career in the financial services. I would (and have) recommend to a friend.
The good thingsGiven the company is on the smaller side, there was great opportunities to be a generalist and get stuck into projects that wouldn't necessarily cross your desk in a larger FSP.
In addition to that, I found everyone I worked with from Finance to marketing to compliance to be a genuine pleasure to be around. Whilst there was the usual friction you get in all offices, I never saw or experienced anyone shutting ideas down without either a very good reason or a better alternative.
One of the best places I've worked.
++ Free friday lunches from local places delivered to the office. Most people ate communally on a friday, which was so nice.
The challengesAll the challenges of a smaller company. There was very little room for upwards mobility simply because there were so few organisational layers. In a similar vein, the pay was bang on average, which I'm not sure you can call a challenge, but still would have been great to be on 10-15k more.
