What’s it like working at NEP Group?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees appreciate the exposure to high-level broadcast and live television production, finding it rewarding to be part of live events. The work is diverse and never boring, with a fast-paced environment that keeps things interesting. Colleagues are full of personality and generally make it a fun place to work. NEP Group also offers a central location with parking available and decent salaries for permanent staff.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as extended working hours being common, with regular evening and weekend shifts. There appears to be limited structured support and training during onboarding, with expectations to rapidly understand complex systems. Communication with management can be challenging due to operational separation and infrequent feedback sessions. Freelance employees indicate there is limited investment in professional development, and some employees have noted workplace politics and varying levels of staff morale.

High-pressure work environment with limited support and training
The good thingsExposure to high-level broadcast and live production environments
The challengesOngoing pressure to work extended hours in a small office environment, including frequent weekend shifts and demanding schedules that often exceeded standard working expectations. There appeared to be limited opportunity for proper breaks during shifts, with staff generally expected to remain in the office. Communication with management is difficult due to operational separation and limited local support structures. There also appeared to be low staff morale within parts of the workplace, alongside a lack of structured support and training during the onboarding process. There was an expectation to rapidly understand complex systems, workflows, and operational responsibilities within a short period of time, often without sufficient guidance, mentoring, or knowledge transfer.
