What’s it like working at Kikki.K?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees appreciate the excellent staff discounts on Kikki.K and Brandbank products, as well as the beautiful, quality products that create an aesthetically pleasing workplace. Many value the friendly team atmosphere and supportive colleagues, with some noting that direct managers and head office provide good support, particularly for working parents.

However, there are some potential challenges, including difficulties with upper management and area managers regarding communication and decision-making. Employees note that KPI targets and sales expectations can be demanding, and staffing levels may be stretched with stores often run by one person. Additionally, work-life balance can be affected by high workload demands, and pay rates are considered low relative to responsibilities.

A creative, energetic workplace with a positive culture that inspires collaboration.
The good thingsGreat culture and energy within the brand and office. Very supported within my role and have seen great growth and career progression.
The challengesThe head office building is a bit run down, and needs an update, and the lifts are always breaking down.

The challengesExtremely picky on VM even if their plan doesn’t work for the store, we are forced to implement it. No support in store- most of the time the store is run by one person all day who is burdened with VM tasks and stressed with KPIs. Can’t use the toilets due to customers in store. Upper management is very incompetent- Area manager causes extreme stress and anxiety. Very difficult to work with the Area Manager. No clear communication- lack of respect to the store employees by Area Manager and they don’t understand the managers or customers feedback and nothing is done about it. Waste of time working for this company especially being very underpaid for the stress and responsibilities. If they need work done they need more staff in the stores.
