What’s it like working at JLL?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees at JLL consistently highlight the quality of their colleagues and team members, noting that they are supportive, professional and friendly. The company offers training opportunities and development programmes, along with flexibility and autonomy in how employees manage their work, including remote working options. The office environment is also praised, particularly in Melbourne CBD, with pleasant facilities and good working spaces.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. Some employees have noted that upper management can be difficult to work with at times, with concerns about support and communication. Whilst training is available, onboarding processes could be more structured and role-specific. Career progression and pay increases may require proactive effort, and some employees have mentioned that the workload can be demanding with long hours in certain roles. Additionally, some IT systems and processes could benefit from modernisation, and communication and transparency from leadership could be enhanced to provide clearer direction and more regular feedback.

Challenging at times due to limited support, communication and recognition within the role.
The good thingsThey allowed you to do your work, no micromanaging. The pay was on time, and there are good systems to use.
The challengesDuring my time with JLL, I experienced challenges relating to limited support, minimal training and a lack of transparency in communication. At times, I felt undervalued and somewhat invisible within the organisation despite consistently carrying out my duties professionally and taking on significant responsibility. Greater recognition, clearer direction and stronger operational support would have improved both morale and performance.

Steer clear of this place- nobody cares about you here and you are expendable to them.
The good thingsVery nice office space even though it is not JLL's.
The challengesHorrible company to work for. I was signed on for 1.5 weeks as sick cover. Then I was told by JLL they thought I was there for a month. My contract showed 1.5 weeks and that is all I signed. The boss said they would get in touch with the agency to correct my end date on the contract. That was at 1 P.M. By 6 P.M. I was getting a call from my agency saying I had been fired because they wanted someone more long term. It is completely confusing. They also said I lacked initiative. How could I when the person training me didn't even know I was coming until I showed up and she only worked there for a month and didn't know how to train me? Further, I did not have security access to most of the rooms and did not have a computer so I could not accomplish any tasks if I was even given any (which I wasn't). There are literally six people that need to be contacted to get anything done at this company. The most disorganised and convoluted place I have ever been in.
