Enjoy my current role and IFM team I work with. Good work culture so far (good HR).
The good thingsThe flexibility to work autonomously. Less drama and politic and recognition from management and team of a job well done, and ability to manage work/life balance to individual preference. The HR & people culture team are amazing. Onboarding was so efficient and effective.
The challengesWork/life balance is supported by management, and work culture is pretty good so far, but can quickly swing out of proportion if individuals do not create/maintain their own boundaries. No other significant challenges other than the standard in every job and aren't explainable.

The challengesI feel that this is an extremely toxic and unsafe workplace environment. Staff concerns about safety are not being taken seriously, particularly when employees are required to attend to clients who display aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour. We are often expected to continue providing services despite incidents involving vandalism, aggression, intoxication, and other unsafe situations.
When staff raise concerns or advise that they do not feel safe attending a particular client, these concerns are often disregarded, and staff are repeatedly sent back to the same locations. This creates unnecessary stress and places employees at risk. Staff should be able to report legitimate safety concerns without fear of being ignored or pressured into returning to an unsafe environment.
