GIO employees particularly value their colleagues and team environment, with many highlighting the excellent staff relationships. The company offers appreciated benefits including work from home flexibility and training and development opportunities, which contribute to employee satisfaction.

However, employees face some challenges with outdated and complicated IT systems that can impact daily operations. There are opportunities to enhance practical training implementation and ongoing support, particularly for new employees. Some reviews also suggest that management support and practices could be improved to better assist team members.

Toxic management, unmanageable workload, and no support seriously impact mental health.
The good thingsThe WFH set-up only.
The challengesThere is not enough practical training, and new employees are often expected to complete tasks they were never taught. Management can be very toxic, often prioritising their own interests over the team’s well-being. Many employees avoid responsibilities, leaving others to handle tasks outside their job descriptions, which leads to an unmanageable workload. Overall, the workplace culture is toxic, and management shows little concern for employee mental health. I would not recommend applying to this company, as it could negatively affect your well-being. It is no surprise that many employees resign within a short period.

Really disappointing for a company this size.
The good thingsSome of the people are great to work with. WFH flexibility was good but could use with some improvement. Employee Share program is good
The challengesManagement that lack the experience and expertise to do their roles. The culture needs quite a bit of work, as does support for leaders and staff. No L&D function in the branch, meaning more work for leaders. Toxic middle/Senior management who probably need to be moved on as they have been there far too long.
