Always a step ahead and thinking of the customer, we respect the individual style and embrace all the latest trends. We try to keep things affordable, so a fresh outfit is accessible to all. In 2004 the Dotti chain became a part of The Just Group and began expanding throughout Australia and New Zealand. In as little time as it takes to bat your lashes, Dotti exploded from just ten stores to opening its 100th store in December 2009. In 2012 Dotti launched an Australian online store and, more recently, in 2015, a New Zealand-specific online store.

What’s it like working at Dotti?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Dotti offers a positive workplace culture characterised by supportive coworkers and meaningful customer interactions. Employees appreciate the generous staff discount and value the comprehensive training programs provided, particularly in styling advice and workplace safety. The company culture is often described as collaborative and family-like, with opportunities for skill development.

However, employees face some workplace challenges, including managing multiple priorities within limited timeframes and maintaining work-life balance due to irregular scheduling. The pressure to meet sales targets and KPIs can be demanding, and some staff members indicate that management support could be more consistent across stores.

Do not work here if you value your mental stabilityExtremely wrongful workplace behaviour from so called management is swept under the rug and does not get addressed when it is officially reported. They will not have your back, years of loyalty to this company mean nothing. Task load to timeframe it’s expected to be done in is unrealistic and never ending. Stock levels were unmanageable and little to no solutions were ever given to aid with these problems. Staffing was constantly an issue.

not for the faint of heart, expect to be left on your own 99% of the time.
The good thingsinteracting with customers was the best part of this role, besides making good relationships with SOME coworkers.
The challengesi had causal hours for part-time pay. that’s not even the worst part. we had no manager for months and the only individual in charge was a horrible person to work with. i had to have docs certs to cover my mental health as they were triggering panic attacks for me daily.
