What’s it like working at DBP?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at DBP appreciate the great work environment, which is described as family friendly with good work/life balance and flexible hours. The location of the office is also seen as a positive, being close to many coffee shops.

However, there are several potential challenges faced by employees. These include cultural issues with a poor, old-school management style and mentality, as well as a perceived resistance to change. Compensation is an area of concern, with salaries reported to be below market rates. For certain roles, particularly those in remote locations, employees face challenging work conditions, having to cook, clean, and perform manual labour in addition to their regular duties. The company is also dealing with aging assets that require significant investment. Finally, there are reports of workplace issues such as a lack of team spirit, office politics, and a toxic environment.

The challengesVery remote site,You have to cook your own food. You have to live in shared house, Accommodation is very very old and very dirty (Cleaner cleans once a month) ,shared toilet and shower. You have to lift heavy gas bottles alone in remote location. Electrical & Instrumentation technician also need to do lot yard cleanup ,cutting grass and spraying.(40% E & I and 60 % Handy Man work) Lots of manual handling work in remote area, I was really worried about it. Long hours of work +Cooking +cleaning+ washing I request DBP to mention all above duties in your advertisement for Job.
