Great onboarding, but the gloss comes away when under the pump, and can be left to manage on your own

The good thingsCustomers - Wonderful customers with high expectations Peers - Some of the best specialist I've had the privilege to work Onboarding - is comprehensive and well run Management - approachable and easy to talk to

The challenges- A lot of suggestions and improvement end up in the too hard basket - Salary rises are tied to training that you won't get time to complete except on your own time, except on day of certification exams. - Work/Life balance was exceptionally difficult with long hours expected and a monthly league table showing how you compare to your peers - Rarely paid overtime, and TOIL is on the honour system and forgotten in time of needs - Days off still have phone calls regarding work/tickets and meetings that you expect you to be there - Inability to have concerns escalated despite following process (ie. Too Hard Basket) - Expectation to use your own vehicle to travel to site, with reimbursement rates well below award rates.
