The experience depends so much on your leader. If you're in HR - stay away.

The good thingsMade some great life-long friends. Great money without having to travel to the city or FIFO. Gained good experience in difference locations and areas over the 17 years.

The challengesThe senior HR leadership are stuck in the 70s, rule with an iron fist and brush over serious concerns raised within the team until you're forced into resigning to stick to your values. Flexibility is a buzz word and not actually applicable. You're expected to do well over your hours to get the job done in white collar roles with zero recognition. Things always done on the cheap and the future does not look positive with corporate making decisions they don't understand.
