The good thingsThe work offers a wide variety of experience across design, structural analysis, project management, estimating and site visits, with exposure to many different projects and clients. The team is close-knit with a genuinely positive office culture, and there is clear investment in developing engineers through the grad/cadet pathway. The company has gone through a lot of positive change over the years and is now in an incredible position, with quick progression based on effort and results and real opportunities to grow as it continues to expand and develop new technologies.

The good thingsI worked at Acrow as an Engineering Cadet and the experience was extremely valuable for my professional development. The team is incredibly supportive and are always willing to help you learn and grow. I really appreciated the collaborative team culture, whereby everyone occupied shared goals with genuine respect for each other and inclusivity. I was also given myriads of opportunities such as hands-on experience on a variety of projects, developing a strong sense of real-life engineering practises. This greatly supported my professional development, building my skills and confidence as an engineer. Overall, this company values teamwork, continuous development and fosters an inclusive workplace.
The challengesThe main challenge was adjusting from university to work, but the company was very supportive and made the transition smooth.
