Worst workplace I have worked in, the words don't match the reality.
The good thingsclose to home. People in teams are nice
The challengesPoor systems, still manually yes excel. Not based on performance but who you know, senior management protect people who are target others and are incompetent. Performance review rankings are set by the executive group even though they have no idea what you do. Very arrogant senior leaders, all men.

Average - not sure the experience is worth it.
The good thingsSmaller Company at the moment but seems to want to grow.
The challengesInternal dynamics are difficult to navigate and make the workplace unpleasant. The very flat structure, combined with low delegated authority, results in roles feeling disempowered. There appears to be a significant amount of internal disagreement, which slows decision-making and a tendency for executives and leaders to prioritise ego over collaboration for the benefit of the sites. Challenging views can lead to being singled out and then targeted. In my role, I felt more exposed to corporate politics than I should have been, spending more time managing interpersonal issues than focusing on meaningful work. It feels like an environment where it is best to keep your head down, do your job and try avoid drawing attention. There also seems to be a lack of alignment and support among executives, leaders and their teams, which contributes to ongoing tension and conflict and can be quite draining - you never know when you will be thrown under a bus.

It’s who you know, not what you know.
The good thingsColleagues, peers and contractors were great to work with on a whole.
The challengesRepetition of tasks is challenging as is night shift. Training lacking as is clarity around roles, tasks and expectations.
