Avoid the furnace floor at all costs.
The good thingsNothing, worst job I've ever had.
The challengesEverything - even the Safety Induction was a safety hazard!
People on the melt floor would go out of their way to make life harder and/or unpleasant.
Trip hazards, open pits and extreme heat hazards everywhere.
Broken equipment means manually lifting 100kg+ chunks of material - good if you want to try be a (short lived) hero.
There's reasons why they continually advertise for staff, take heed.
