What’s it like working at TradeTools?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees appreciate the friendly team environment and supportive culture at TradeTools, noting that staff are not treated as just a number and the company maintains a family business feeling. The team-based commission structure encourages collaboration, with higher than average pay rates and comprehensive training provided through engagement with key brands. Long-term staff are rewarded with company shares and there are good opportunities for career progression.

However, there are some potential challenges, including mandatory Saturday work every fortnight with limited leave options, and the large range of products requiring significant time to master. Work/life balance can be challenging during busy periods with long hours, and take-home pay fluctuates based on weekly store performance. Some employees also note that management practices and procedures could be modernised.

This job needs more structure and not using old procedures from the 1960's.
The good thingsI enjoyed having a hands on role with using tools and problems solving. Some of the staff are pretty good.
The challengesBeing in this role is stressful due to the lack of support, stress from having to juggle tasks daily. Working Saturdays fortnightly is a must of course. Note: This job has a high turn over for a reason...

The challengesThe challenges are simply lack of progression expect to be there atleast 7 years and the best you’ll be at that point will only be a 2ic, also the Saturdays and only being able to take 2 off a year and then you have to pay someone todo it for you or swap and do 2 in a row very old school out dated
