Supagas’ state-of-the-art facilities allows us to offer multiple gas types and gas products, as well as run specialised laboratories to mix and test specialty gas. This helps us to better service our customers’ needs and requirements. Our competitive advantage is based on reliable delivery, fast and personal responses to queries, and outstanding customer service. Our History Supagas began in 1968 under the name of Australian Forklifts in the southeast suburb of Moorabbin and serving Melbourne. In 1985, the Supagas name was formed from its original name of Australian Forklifts under Supagas Holdings Pty Ltd. Due to customers wanting a wider range of products, the decision was made to build an industrial gas plant in Dandenong. Helium and CO2 filling facilities were added along with cylinder testing and a refurbishment plant to cater for all types of vessels and cylinders. The business continued to expand across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Northern Territory. In 1997, Supagas NSW and Supagas QLD trading under Renegade Gas Pty Ltd was established as a separate entity, initially selling and refilling forklift gas from its original site in Wetherill Park. After significant growth across all gases and across all of NSW and QLD Supagas (Renegade) had branches in most parts of NSW, ACT and QLD. In July 2015, Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation (TNSC), the 6th largest gas supplier in the world acquired Renegade Gas Pty Ltd and then in December 2016, the following year acquired Supagas Holdings Pty Ltd. This acquisition has now made Supagas an integrated national company servicing all of Australia. Our Markets Industrial; LP gas for forklift, industrial, welding Hospitality; Beer gas, indoor and outdoor heater hire, Heatagas, LP gas Specialty; Laboratory, food preparation and packaging Medical; gas and equipment Welding; gas and equipment Helium; gas, balloons and accessories Residential; LP gas for home use Accreditations Supagas has a TGA licence to manufacture and distribute Medical Oxygen, complies with all Australian standards (ISO 9001-2015 accredited) and has a NATA accredited laboratory.

Was a great place to work until supagas took over. Future is unknown.

Unsure what the future brings, they mean well but the future is uncertain.
The good thingsJob progression and job satisfaction. Worked in a number of different roles. Boss was great, autonomy and freedom as long as you hit your KPI's.
The challengesYou must be able to solve conflict resolution with customers as price increases constantly. As a sales rep you will find that the logistics side will let you down and then you must resolve.

Nice people but incompetent management, dictatorship, old business admin processes. Daily chaos.
The good thingsSome friendly people. Free parking. Perks and discounts. Easy to underperform and keep your job. Good place to work if you dont care much.
The challengesBusiness administration practices need to enter the 21st century. Managment culture needs a big refresh so that communication flows rather than the current dictatorship with healthy discussion amongst professional people to considered in decision making. Managers need to know how to make changes properly and run functions. Its just constant disorganised chaos from problems because of managers not knowing how to do things properly
