okay for fresh graduates, then look elsewhere after a few years.
The good thingsFlexible working hours. Salary Sacrifice.
The challengesLeadership focus only on their research which is heavily lean on statistically analysis, survey, policy, etc. There is lack of support on fundamental science to understand the mode of action and to elucidate pathways. I can understand that fundamental science is often not cost effective and takes a lot longer to get results, compared to looking at the impact of sugary drinks labels or omega 3 with a survey. High turnover rate from senior management to junior researcher, all across from the C-suite, HR, legal, Finance, IT... After a few years of charging uni for office space and lab space, uni is now smart enough to only rent space which is critical for their research. A quick visit and you will notice the office and lab space is getting empty. Not to mention the uncertainty of SAHRMI 2 next door.

A good example of red flags to look for in future jobs
The good thingsStaff seem to be committed although alot of the spirit is driven by the team themselves, not management
The challengesIdeas are determined by people who are not in the roles or who are too business focused to care what the true outcomes should be

Toxic work environment. Would never recommend.
The good thingsFlexibility with work hours and working from home
The challengesManagement and HR are hopeless and promote an anti-choice and toxic environment. They only support the research that suits them and ignore conflicting evidence. They seem to care more about politics than the the health and well-being of their employees. The environment and culture feels very negative. Very little perks and benefits.
