If you enjoy being micromanaged in all aspects then this is the place for you.
The good thingsFriendly colleagues and lots of social events throughout the year.
The challengesExtremely high KPI's and a very strict work environment that doesn't allow you to check your phone or talk to colleagues. Targets are set way to high to the point where certain months it's impossible to hit and management blames it on you. Very short breaks and lunch breaks which are timed to the minute.

This would be an opportunity to gain experience, and a possibility to move into a Training position in the future.
The good thingsI spent around 16 years in the previous company I was working for, at RECKON. I rose up through the roles from Technical Support, to a Business Development Manager, and then onto an Account Management role.
The challengesA Customer requested a discount on some accounting software for their Non-Profit Organisation, and they were very determined to receive this. I simply asked the Customer If I could place them on hold. I then spoke with my manager to see if we could arrange a discount for them. The discount was granted, and this made their day

Feels good work in an enabling environment
The good thingsEasily the best company I've worked in. There's a real focus on personal development and innovation and there's plenty of hard problems around to solve so it never gets boring.
The challengesNone that I can think of
