What’s it like working at Quickstep Technologies?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Quickstep Technologies demonstrates several positive workplace attributes, including a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion across all levels of the organisation. Employees particularly value their supportive colleagues and the learning opportunities available through initiatives like the Quickstep Learning Academy. The company offers good work-life balance with flexible arrangements, additional leave options, and paid parental leave benefits.

However, there are areas that present opportunities for improvement. These include concerns about leadership and management approaches, particularly in manufacturing areas, and inconsistent training experiences across departments. Some employees have noted that the HR department could be more accessible, and there are challenges with staff retention, especially among manufacturing operators.

Overall a great experience in aerospace production, learning new tools and products in assembling a product that needs careful handling and an eye for detail. Also being around helpful and friendly workers makes for pleasant working atmosphere.
The good thingsWorking 5 minutes from home. On-site Parking available. New employees put thru classroom training. Early start early knockoffs. Easy going, relaxed fellow workers and approachable management who want you to succeed.
The challengesFixing other peoples errors when your still in training while trying to process and rectify your own mistakes and accomplishments.

Horrible workshop floor, operators running away as quick as they can.
The good thingsA diverse HR team. Loud and proud, diverse backgrounds including all genders.
The challengesHorrible place to work, horrible leads, they love their lizards more then their operators. People leaving in droves, lowly paid, over worked. Poor training provided.
