What’s it like working at Priceline?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Priceline appreciate working with friendly and supportive colleagues, often citing their co-workers as one of the best aspects of the role. Staff members value the opportunity to expand their product knowledge and develop new skills in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. The staff discount on products is well-received, and many employees find customer interactions rewarding, noting that customers are generally pleasant. The fast-paced nature of the work keeps employees engaged, with plenty to do throughout the day.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. Management practices can vary significantly between stores, with some employees experiencing inconsistent direction and high expectations. High staff turnover has been noted at some locations, which can impact team stability and require frequent training of new employees. The workload can be demanding, particularly during catalogue changes and busy periods. Some staff members feel that feedback tends to focus on areas for improvement rather than acknowledging achievements. Weekend work is often required with limited flexibility in scheduling, and some employees have expressed that opportunities for advancement may be limited in certain regions.

    Worst experience ever
The good thingssome of the other staff are nice
The challengesThe manager is the worst person I have ever come across. She is so rude and mean. Minimal training was given and she just expected me to know what to do and then reprimanded me in front of other staff and customers if I got something wrong. She also didn't like it if I asked for any help when I was unsure of something and stated that I should know the answer after doing a day of online training! Worst environment, zero support and when I raised this with head office after I left they dismissed my concerns too. I have worked in high stress / busy environments in hospitality and this treatment was just crazy! Definitely stay away!

    Avoid application burnout is imminent
The good thingsZero. There wasn't anything good about working here.
The challengesWesfarmers do not protect or take care of their staff. They take sides and aren't professional. They make workers work hard until burnout so they resign so that they don't have to pay out any leave. Would never recommend a Priceline as a workplace. No work life balance.

    Wastful, zero support
The good thingsA lot of great things to learn Staff are mostly nice to work with ih
The challengesZero support for staff, overworking and mentally draining zero acknowledgement for hard work and severely underpaid, doesn't care if staff sit on their phones hiding away from customers doing no work related duties and leaving it up to the Manager to do all the work, and getting scolded when bringing it up.
