What’s it like working at NobleOak?

    AI summary of recent reviews
NobleOak employees frequently praise the company's positive culture, which is described as friendly, collaborative, and supportive. The company provides opportunities for growth and development, with clear paths for career advancement and training programs. NobleOak also has a strong focus on its people, prioritising employee wellness, recognition, and work-life balance. Employees appreciate the excellent benefits offered, including parental leave, bonuses, and social events.

However, as NobleOak is growing rapidly, some employees find it challenging to keep up with the pace of change and new opportunities. Certain roles, such as Client Services, can experience high workloads and pressure to meet targets. Additionally, while NobleOak offers some flexibility, some employees feel that additional work-from-home days would improve work-life balance.

Great culture at the entry level roles. Needs better structure around delivery governance and benefit tracking.
The good thingsThe focus on people and the culture, especially in entry level roles
The challengesMicromanagement style. Focus on completing tasks over outcomes.

Overall, my experience at NobleOak was been very positive. I've had many growth opportunities, worked with great people, and am excited about the company's future. I would definitely recommend it.
The good thingsNobleOak truly cares for their people, focusing on development and overall wellness. There are plenty of growth opportunities, and it's an engaging, collaborative environment. As a small-medium business you get to learn new things that you wouldn't at other places. They are trying really hard with introducing new benefits, especially the parental leave. They are an employer of choice winner for a reason! I also liked the big focus they had on reward and recognition.
The challengesNobleOak's current flexible working arrangements (4 days in the office/1 days at home) can be a challenge - esp when you are comparing to the market. An extra day at home would be the perfect balance. They do offer adhoc flex days at home for when you need it which is good.

Excellence in awards are great but internal culture specifically client services needs to be more socially inclusive with other departments. It doesn’t feel like we are all together but separated from all. It’s like you stay in your corner and we will stay in ours. I think nobleoak needs to look at employing more people to keep the work load manageable. If employees threat to leave especially if their good at what their doing they tend to just let you go rather than trying to retain talent.
The good thingsThe people and colleagues were good.
The challengesClient services leadership does not care and just leaves it to the people down the chain to cop the brunt of everything. Low staff in the team with high call volumes and they expect us to execute the KPI’s whilst managing the busy call environment. 7 people to manage the whole of Australia while expecting us to do admin as well. 7 people to manage the whole of australia whilst trying to maintain 0 in the call line.
