Disappointing experience due to gaps in direct leadership expertise in sourcing &contract management
The good thingsWhile my experience with leadership was challenging, I found several team members to be supportive, professional, and collaborative.
The challengesThe position was presented during recruitment as a middle-management role with strategic sourcing and contract leadership responsibilities. In practice, the classification and assigned duties were closer to an entry-level administrative function, which created a significant misalignment between expectation and reality. From a commercial governance perspective, there appeared to be a strong focus on transactional purchasing rather than structured strategic sourcing methodology. Core sourcing elements such as stakeholder alignment prior to supplier engagement, structured evaluation frameworks, and balanced internal consultation during contract variations were not consistently evident. In my experience, direct leadership within the function demonstrated very limited experience of formal sourcing and contract management frameworks, which made it difficult to operate effectively in a strategic role

Turnover is high here for a reason. A terrible working environment with managers with no experience.
The good thingsStaff travel and the cabin/ flight crew are great people.
The challengesThe management across the company is dysfunctional and the culture within the office is the worst I have ever experienced. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Management have zero management skills and that is evident after a few days here. The flight and cabin crew out on the line are under appreciated and should look to work elsewhere. There is a reason that turnover is high and they are constantly recruiting!

    Cabin Crew

I've been working at Network for approximately 3 years and 6 months, and I feel compelled to share my experience regarding the company. The Cabin Crew management style has created a challenging, but more importantly, a toxic work environment. From the outset, it became clear that the Cabin Crew management employed at Network seems more focused on maintaining a controlling leadership style, using micromanagement and a demoralising approach toward the staff. This has created resentment, a decline in morale, and a high turnover rate among staff. Moreover, recognition for hard work is virtually nonexistent. Despite the dedication and effort many of us put in, it feels as though our contributions go unnoticed, as management does not pass on the recognition. I’ve seen several talented individuals leave due to these management practices. The overall culture here is stifling.
The good thingsMeeting New People and lasting friendships.
The challengesrotating schedule odd hrs, often working on weekends and holidays, limited growth opportunities
