“My experience was negative: poor management, little real work, and overall a decision I regret.”
The good thingsThis place will break you.
The challengesIn my personal experience, working at Nepean Belting was extremely negative. Management seemed to lack real conveyor knowledge, which led to poor planning, unclear direction, and a constant sense of disorganisation. Communication often felt passive-aggressive, and over time it became mentally draining. For months at a time, I had almost no meaningful work—just sweeping the workshop and waiting for something to happen. It was frustrating, unmotivating, and made me question why I took the job. The $10,000 sign-on bonus sounds great, but in my experience it isn’t as straightforward as it seems. To put it bluntly, starting here was one of the worst decisions I’ve made in my working life. Others may feel differently, but I strongly recommend thinking carefully before accepting a role.

Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone who wants to experience the challenge - you live and die by your own sword in this organization.
The good thingsGreat culture, autonomy to get things done, good support from the top, excellent investment in training and culture development as an organization.
The challengesMore investment to bring manufacturing standard to world class, although it was a work in progress.

The challengesNo real challenges. Onsite parking may fill up but plenty of space across road and on street parking.
