    Rewarding work made possible by great colleagues, not management.
    The good things My team was amazing. Supportive, hardworking, and full of heart. We built a great culture among ourselves, not because of senior management but in spite of them. The people on the ground carried the organisation’s values far more than those leading it.
    The challengesThe main challenges stem from a senior management team that often felt disconnected from the reality of day-to-day operations. There’s been frequent turnover at that level, which has created instability and inconsistency in direction. Priorities seemed to lean more toward financial outcomes than the wellbeing and growth of staff. Pay rates are below industry standards, and there’s a noticeable gap between the benefits and support offered to management versus frontline teams. Career development and professional growth aren’t actively encouraged or supported, which can make it difficult to see a long-term future within the organisation.

    Wouldn't recommend unless you love being overworked and underappreciated.
    The good thingsPurely on-site level was the team we created. Site manager was outstanding, no faults there - always supportive, always listened. Getting to know the clients on a personal level and assisting with bettering their situation, whether that be with employment or addressing their health (mental health etc).
    The challengesTwo words - UPPER MANAGEMENT. No support, no communication. Too busy focusing on what Melbourne does to care about any other state. When they do ask for feedback, it's not acknowledged or heard so you're basically just wasting your time.
