A lot of new joined riggers, operator etc. never returned after spending first or second swing.
The good thingsSome good blokes, very helpful and supportive young ladies in the office.
The challengesAccommodation fee: you have to pay 70$ per week if they put you in the rental house.
Weekly allowance of 140$ less 70$ accommodation fee, you got 70$ left.
Favoritism: "great blood suckers" has the better hours, better assignment.
Entitled workers: some old timers are nightmare to worked with, some riggers and some site supervisors.
Wages: not a great figures for CO
Primitive way of dealing time sheets, still using manual paper and pen in daily basis 1 A1 paper a day, instead of using technology or apps.

Overall, it was an ok place to work at.
The good thingsThe pay and management wasn't great but I liked the people I worked with. Double time on night shifts.
The challengesThe work is okay, but the way employees are treated really needs to change. Most of the time it feels like workers are just numbers, not people. Management often talks down to staff, which makes the workplace feel negative. The pay is very poor. From my experience, they are the lowest paid crane company in Central QLD, even though the work is hard and comes with a lot of responsibility.
