“You know all the construction horror stories, like budget blowouts, safety issues and poor communications, right?Well, with extremely low incident rates, industry-leading staff training and zero litigated disputes in over 100 major jobs, Fremantle Constructions really puts all these to rest. It’s why, to date, every single one of our clients has reengaged us once they’ve worked with us. It’s what makes us Australia’s infrastructure specialists.”Fremantle Constructions Pty Ltd, Australia's Infrastructure Specialists, is a Civil Construction company founded in 2004. For well over a decade we have worked on over half of the largest and most complex resource infrastructure projects Australia has ever seen, including Pluto, Ichthys and, of course, Gorgon. Impressive though they are, they're not the only feathers in our cap. In that time we have delivered over 100 individual infrastructure projects from the very large, to the very complex; so no matter what you've got in mind odds are we have seen it or built it before. And we've managed to do all this while keeping our safety record to an unprecedentedly low reported incident level of below four. So if you're after a company that can scale to any size with both quality and speed, it's worth getting familiar with our name.Source: This is an extract from the company's own website.

If I can work for a company like Fremantle constructions for a few years then I can do anything...
The good thingsBecause of this job I got to build my own house, I travelled Asia. Moved to Darwin where I met my beautiful partner and we are now expecting a baby girl. The mining wage I received was twice the amount I was making as a carpenter working on union sites in Melbourne. For that I'm very grateful
The challengesThe politics and expectations in this company are pathetic!! Unfortunately I was stuck with a terrible supervisor for over a year. Everybody has run into one! Working in Darwin on a 4-1 swing while building a house in Melbourne started to get the better of me so I moved back home. I'd never go back and work for them again but I'm glad I stuck it out for a few years
