    Toxic culture shock
The good thingsThe location is pretty good? There’s a coffee machine.
The challengesToxic culture fostered by management. Resourcing is never easy but it’s particularly problematic at Deepend. The idea of collaboration is nice, but the process required makes everything expensive - some clients don’t buy in and management are too inflexible to make it work. Have seen some questionable ethical practices from accounting, HR and new business perspectives.

Good experience but no work/life balance.
The good things* Independent agency. * Flat management structure and you can talk to the CEO/owner right away. * Really nice people. * Good variety of clients and projects. * Cool office.
The challenges* Methodology and process are not mature generating a pile of workflow problems and inefficiencies. * Trying to be everything to everyone, which means that the agency accepts projects without having the skillset to deliver which in turn becomes a hell of a job. * Agency is not mature and technical enough to undertake and deliver more complex projects requiring more sophisticated back-end work. * Poor account management.
