Stressful Work Environment With Inadequate Support and Safety. Poor Leadership and Safety Standards.
The good thingsParent company name and reputation of parent company Mineral Resources.
The challengesMy experience working with this company was disappointing due to several ongoing workplace and management issues. There was a lack of proper tools and equipment required to complete jobs safely and efficiently. New starters were not provided with adequate training or clear work instructions, which created confusion and increased the risk of mistakes on site. Safety standards and procedures appeared to be poorly managed, with insufficient attention given to worker wellbeing and safe work practices. Despite limited tools and resources, workers were constantly pressured to complete tasks faster, creating an unnecessary and stressful work environment. In my experience, the leading hand lacked the technical knowledge and decision-making ability required for the role, which often resulted in poor planning and inefficient job execution. Employees were also expected to handle a variety of odd jobs without the necessary manpower, equipment, or support to meet the workload demands properly.

Always feel like you’re in trouble when you haven’t done anything wrong .
The good thingsPay is okay if you’re in the purple circles
The challengesNo structure or carrier development as they advertise on every job add so people only go up levels or into leadership roles based on if you’re the superintendents favourite. Also any tiny excuse is needed to stop you from getting your bonus . Apparently there is a matrix for what you need to go up levels but they definitely use it when putting up some . Lot of the superintendents and managers are peanuts that promote a toxic environment.
