A great workplace that lost its way after a change in leadership
The good thingsSome genuinely great people within the business and I had the opportunity to work with talented, hardworking colleagues. The role itself was varied and, under the right leadership, could be very rewarding. Great office!
The challengesOnce the Office Manager left, the Brisbane office went downhill very quickly. What had previously been an organised, supportive and enjoyable workplace became poorly managed and disconnected. Remote management from Perth seemed out of touch with what was actually happening in the Brisbane office, and morale and culture suffered as a result.
It was frustrating watching a genuinely good workplace deteriorate because strong local leadership wasn’t valued until it was gone.
