What’s it like working at Contract Resources?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees appreciate the quality of their colleagues at Contract Resources, consistently highlighting friendly, collaborative teams and good people to work with. Management is generally viewed as approachable, supportive and understanding. The pay rates and opportunity to earn good money are strong benefits, along with the diverse range of projects that provide interesting challenges across different sites. Contract Resources also provides training support and prioritises safety, with experienced staff willing to share their knowledge.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as the casual nature of employment creating uncertainty about ongoing work and job locations. Achieving work/life balance can be challenging due to long hours, six-day weeks, and time spent working away from home. Some employees have noted that communication could be improved, particularly regarding organisation and schedule changes. Additionally, systems can be outdated, change can be slow to implement, and travel logistics between sites can be tiring with long drives and extended airport waits.

Avoid if possible, not worth the mental strain
The good thingsProvide training and send you to do tickets. Good work life balance.
The challengesMany of the people in the crew had a "fit in or leave" mentality towards new starters. Some Leading hands often not approachable, nor qualified to be in the role, and were often promoted based on a who you know not what you know. managers are cowards and all in purple circle. They will give you false hope to your face instead of just being straight up an honest. HR is just as bad.

Contract Resources was a family owned business initially and you can see the difference by the team you work with and how approachable and helpful everyone is. I would recommend working for this company.
The good thingsGreat working environment with a collaborative crew. Approachable management who listen to you.
The challengesWork load can be higher at times however if you have the drive to work, this is a good thing.
