Reconsider. Looks good on a resume if you’re new to payroll.
The good thingsFantastic in the beginning. Management cared about their employees and met/worked with some fantastic people. Long life friendships. Had career and project opportunities in the beginning.
The challengesManagement became very toxic. Hard workers were only rewarded with more work, never praised. Poor salary - overworked and underpaid.
Collegues are never trained correctly. Intense work, not enough payroll officers.
Management don’t listen to complaints and are very petty - to the point where they won’t greet people in the morning because they are in a “bad mood”. Often make promises they can’t keep, promotions, project work etc. HR system full of issues that have never been fixed.
Overall, grateful for the early experiences and people I’ve met. Not greatful for the poor management that I used to look up to. Disappointing as it used to be a very happy place - so not sure what changed with the management.
