What’s it like working at Bluestone?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Bluestone appreciate the flat structure, which allows them to get involved in various projects and ideas. The company offers a permanent hybrid work model, with employees working 2 days in the office, as well as five extra days of leave and a decent bonus. The culture, including social events and celebrations, is enjoyed by many employees. They also praise the good management team and the opportunity to learn from the charismatic chairman.

However, as a smaller and fast-paced company, the environment at Bluestone may not suit those who prefer a larger, more established environment. Some employees have noted a high workload, particularly for certain roles, as well as a lack of resources at times. A few employees have mentioned office politics as a potential challenge. There are also concerns about flexibility, particularly for permanent employees with family commitments, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, there have been changes in management and company structure, as well as software changes, which can be unsettling for some employees.

Good benefits, flat structure, no red tape
The good thingsflat structure... ability to get involved in as many projects and ideas as you have time for no red tape permanent hybrid model 2 days in the office five extra days of leave decent bonus
The challengesAs a smaller fast paced company, it's not suited to those who prefer a larger environment. Here everyone is noticed and each have a part to play, you're not just a number but that doesn't suit those with a large company mindset.

Great company, great culture, great management team. Plenty of exciting projects coming up. Malcolm
The good thingsGreat Culture, good management team, thriving striving company with opportunities
The challengesFlexibility, if contact it’s ok as can afford to pay for the extra care for kids, on perm it’s difficult. Would prefer contract with this company as it requires lot of extra hours to get projects across the line. Also, I’m unclear if bluestone supports wfh. I believe their policy for wfh on this is under review.
