What’s it like working at BlueCare?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees at BlueCare appreciate working with clients and residents, finding the role rewarding and fulfilling. Colleagues and team members are supportive and friendly, creating positive working relationships. Allied health staff enjoy the variety in their work, and remuneration and benefits have improved with competitive salaries and generous annual leave.

However, there are some potential challenges, including concerns about management support and communication, substantial workload with expectations of unpaid overtime, and frequent restructures creating job uncertainty. Staff have also noted that resources and systems may need updating, work-life balance can be difficult in some roles, and training and support could be enhanced during onboarding and system changes.

Not good to work for- you wont advance unless you suck up to the management.
The good thingsThe clients that we look after.
The challengesCare Management do not care for their staff members. It is all about money and budget and meeting the expectations of the higher management. Managers do not have qualifications to preform the job but get the jobs because of the managers they know or pretent to like. Needs to be completely overhauled. Need proper managers in positions not PC;s that pretend to know what they are doing.

After my experience, I refuse to work for organisations partnered with Blue Care.
The good thingsI enjoyed being able to assist aged care persons across a number of roles.
The challengesRegardless of how hard you work, you're just a number. Staff are expected to perform flawlessly, but when mistakes happen, accountability falls on employees rather than the lack of support being provided. The company talks about choice, but in my experience, both participants and staff are often pressured into decisions that can leave you questioning your morals. Management is toxic and insincere—they'll make you feel supported until it's inconvenient, then throw you under the bus. Everything comes back to money, and they'll take advantage of every opportunity they can. The pay can be decent depending on the role, but my advice is to read your employment agreement thoroughly, know exactly what you're entitled to, get everything in writing, and keep detailed records of conversations and decisions. You'll need them.
