What’s it like working at Bethanie Group?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Employees value working with the residents and clients, finding the care work meaningful. Floor staff and team members are hardworking, friendly, and supportive. The organisation offers flexible working arrangements, including work from home options, and provides reasonable pay and benefits along with well-maintained facilities.

However, there are some potential challenges, including upper management being disconnected from operational realities. Workplace culture can be challenging with cliques forming, and understaffing leads to increased workload pressure. Workload expectations can be high, and support and training could be improved, with notable staff turnover affecting team stability.

Greater accountability, transparency and genuine employee support are needed.
The good thingsTh opportunity I had to work with a diverse range of residents and collegues.
The challengesThere is a significant gap between management’s expectations and frontline realities, with unrealistic workloads, limited resources, outdated systems and insufficient support. Leadership, HR processes and management practices often fail to reflect the organisation’s stated values, contributing to inconsistent treatment, reduced trust and a toxic, clique-driven culture at sites including the Head Office. Overall, I encourage prospective employees to carefully consider their options before joining the organisation.
