An absolute nightmare
The good thingsThe Office was modern and the location was great, interacting with clients was a highlight of my day. The salary was reasonable.
The challengesMy experience at Aveo was a study in contrasts. The sales consultants were the only genuinely positive part of my time there — professional, welcoming, and easy to work with. Everything else was the opposite. The customer support team was toxic from day one. The most senior member behaved in a passive‑aggressive, power‑driven way that made collaboration impossible, clearly threatened by competence. The CC Manager knew about ongoing issues, including gossip and hostility toward another team member, yet did nothing. A new team leader was appointed shortly after I started, but she lacked basic capability and made the environment worse. The corporate office at Newstead was full of hidden agendas, fake professionalism, and zero accountability. There’s no real progression, and HR seemed more focused on protecting the company’s image than addressing problems. I wouldn’t recommend Aveo’s corporate office to anyone. Leaving was the best part of the experience.
