What’s it like working at APM?

    AI summary of recent reviews

APM offers some positive aspects including supportive colleagues who work well together in teams, competitive compensation with bonus opportunities for high performers, and comprehensive training programs for those looking to develop their skills. Some employees also appreciate the professional environment and opportunity to make a difference in clients' lives.

However, employees face several challenges including demanding performance metrics that can be difficult to achieve within regular hours, a management style that heavily emphasises numbers over staff wellbeing, and a heavy workload with significant administrative requirements. The level of support provided to staff when dealing with challenging situations could be improved, particularly given the demanding nature of working in employment services.

    All about the money
The good thingsBonuses were good but if you get paid to many they get taxed and it is not worth it
The challengesExpectations of role way to high. Management no idea on how to help their consultants Positive reinforcement was almost nil to none, constantly being threatened with loss of job eve when top performer. Service not about the client at all! All about the money and numbers

    Toxic Culture
The good thingsUnfortunately the challenges outweighed the positives. The salary was the only redeeming aspect.
The challengesThere are too many negatives of APM to list. Primarily lack of direction and leadership, not interested in being proactive and working with each other in the same direction, too many egos while important issues go unsolved and swept under the rug. There is definitely some capital I's in this un-TEAM. The tagline 'Enabling Better Lives' and portraying inclusiveness and diversity it's just all talk. The culture is toxic, and the only lives being enabled are their own, while looking down on those they are supposed to be helping.
