The challengesThe challenge would be transition from healthcare to administration role in an accountant firm. But Accru has been supportive with the transition.

The good thingsEveryone is very friendly & welcoming. The job description wasn't misleading. Great & helpful Admin team. Really flexible with working from home when needed. A lot of events and social functions. Everyone works has a team. Overall a great place to work.
The challengesBehind the times with their systems, processes & technology and are happy to stay that way. Prefer comfort over efficiency. A bigger Admin Team is required to help even the workload more & fill in the gaps when someone is away.

Great place to work!
The good thingsThere is great camaradarie between the team members. Very casual and friendly place to work at, with directors making an effort to make great rapport with you. Frequently get trained with the changes in new accounting standards etc. Given the size of the firm and team, lots of face time with directors who provide direct feedback on work performed.
The challengesWith COVID pushing out doing jobs properly and lack of appropriate staff, lots of overtime (more than usual) were required to meet deadlines.
