About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Officer to provide comprehensive administrative, compliance and client service support to our Tax and Business Advisory team. Working closely with Partners, Associate Directors, Managers and Accountants, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes for our clients while ensuring compliance obligations and deadlines are met.

As a central point of contact between clients, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and internal stakeholders, you will coordinate a broad range of activities and build strong working relationships across the Firm. This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing competing priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing communications between clients, the ATO and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating client documentation, including digital signing processes and compliance requirements.
  • Supporting tax reporting, lodgement processes and the monitoring of compliance deadlines.
  • Assisting with the setup and administration of cloud-based accounting platforms, including Xero and MYOB.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, correspondence and client communications.
  • Coordinating tenders and proposals, ensuring submissions meet required standards and deadlines.
  • Arranging meetings, workshops and other client-facing activities.
  • Supporting invoicing, administrative processes and day-to-day operational requirements of the division.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues to deliver exceptional service outcomes.

About You 

  • Ideally you will have at least three to five years’ experience working as a high-level Administrator. 
  • You bring strong communication skills, enabling you to write with clearly and concisely.  
  • Your collaborative nature and network-building skills are critical to fostering connections across the Firm, along with a high attention to detail you are also able to provide consistent communication across the divisions. 
  • With a high level of drive, integrity, and organisational capability, you effectively manage and coordinate various internal stakeholders, supporting the team to meet shared goals and deadlines. 
  • Candidates must have a current national police clearance (issued within the last six months) and be an Australian citizen.
