We have partnered with a highly unique, Australian engineering company that is in need of a Firmware Developer. Working across a broad range of engineering and technology projects across multiple industries, no two project will be the same.
 
This is a role that will give you a variety of challenges and requires a jack of all trades approach. Firmware will be key as will programming of microprocessors, controllers and bespoke hardware.
 
So, if you are the type of engineer that loves to build beautiful, elegant code you will be involved in:
 

• Design and developing firmware solutions
• Embedded systems and software development
• Creating highly portable, run all the time solutions
• Troubleshooting and testing of code and product
• Working with the broader engineering team
• Ad hoc application development as needed

 
What we are looking for is someone with a curious mind driven by solving problems. The type of person who is driven by passion to create things no one else does. In short:
 

• Commercial experience in firmware development
• Strong programming capability in C and C++
• Experience working with microprocessors and controllers
• Embedded application development experience considered
• Broad software development experience

 
On offer to the successful candidate is a role with a starting salary of $130,000 + superannuation based in their Newcastle office
