Electrician - Maintenance

Location: Ryde, NSW

TOBCO is a well-established Electrical contractor delivering high-quality electrical solutions across schools, commercial and maintenance. Due to continued growth, we are seeking Electricians to join our team based in Ryde.

This is a hands-on role suited to electricians who enjoy variety, responsibility, and working across challenging, real-world projects.

About the Role

You will be involved in a wide range of electrical works including:

• Electrical maintenance, fault finding and breakdowns

• Installation of electrical cabling, lighting, power and switchboards

Work will be primarily based in the Ryde area.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and repairs to a high standard

• Fault finding and troubleshooting across lighting, power and control equipment

• Preventative and corrective maintenance

• Ensure all works comply with safety standards, regulations and site requirements

• Liaise with supervisors, clients and other trades as required

• Maintain accurate records and job documentation

• Contribute positively to a strong safety and team culture

Skills & Experience

• Background in maintenance electrical works (essential)

• Maintenance and fault-finding experience highly regarded

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Professional attitude with good communication skills

Requirements

• Valid Australian Electrical License (NSW)

• Construction Induction White Card

• Current Driver’s License

• HRWL – EWP over 11m (WP) preferred
