Great people, supportive culture and strong leadership.
The good thingsThe culture has improved significantly over the last few months and there is now a really strong sense of collaboration, support and teamwork across the business. People are approachable, hardworking and genuinely willing to help each other, creating a very positive environment to be part of. There’s a shared focus on achieving goals together and the business feels like it’s moving in a really positive direction.
Leadership visibility is also a standout. The leadership team are approachable, involved and engaged with employees across the organisation, which creates a more connected and supportive workplace culture. There is a genuine focus on improving the employee experience and continuously evolving the business in a positive way.
The company is also very growth-focused, with ongoing investment into their people and workplace improvements. The renovated office facilities have made a huge difference as well, creating a modern and enjoyable place to work.

This role was the key reason I decided to leave the retail pharmacy sector.
The good thingsExceptionally patient manager and supervisor I’ve ever worked with! and a very kind, helpful, cheerful and nice coworker, she answered my endless beginner questions without any frustration!
The challengesToxic workplace culture.
Greeting some of the coworkers resulted in being completely ignored. I also experienced them rolling their eyes at me when passing in the aisle, leaving me genuinely wondering whether I was visible to them or not.
Unprofessional behaviour from some pharmacists.
A few were consistently passive-aggressive and dismissive, when walking past them in the dispensary area, they would slam medication boxes onto the conveyor belt right behind me, very hostile environment.

The challengesLack of direction from the CEO, who changes his mind every other day. Pay was insulting and no work from home options even if you live far away and your role could be done remotely.
