I enjoyed my time at Weir and the endless opportunities they provided.
The good thingsEmployee development and endless opportunities.

It feels unstable and not a safe environment for long-term employment
The good thingsThis was once a good company to work for. There are (or were) some very talented, capable people, and when things were running well it could be a positive workplace.
The challengesThe company has gone through significant ups and downs in the last few months. With recent top management changes, the culture has shifted and it has become a difficult and at times toxic environment. Staff morale is low, people do not feel supported, and there is a strong sense of fear and uncertainty. Management appears disconnected from employees and wellbeing is not a clear priority. People are leaving!

You're just a number and easily replaced if not liked by the management club elite.
The good thingsSafety awareness and some great floor staff
The challengesThere is a need for stronger, more effective communication from management.
