What’s it like working at Unity4?

    AI summary of recent reviews
Unity4 offers significant benefits to employees, particularly through its flexible work-from-home arrangement and ability to choose working hours. The company maintains a supportive team environment with positive colleague interactions, and provides ongoing training to help employees develop their skills. These factors contribute to an excellent work-life balance that many employees value highly.

However, employees face certain challenges in their roles, including inconsistent management communication and unpredictable work hours due to data availability. There are also concerns about technical system reliability and the quality of contact data provided. Additionally, some employees find it challenging to consistently meet the required sales targets and KPIs, particularly when dealing with cold calls.

Poor company to work for and a horrendous system to use.
The good thingsAbility to work from home and choose own hours
The challenges Constant system issues that are always blamed on employees internet issues even though there are agents all over the country with different providers and set ups having the same issues. Little to no management or support, replies can take up to 2 weeks. Usually the only time you are contacted is to have a "check in" is to be lectured about objection handling peoples reasons for not donating that are completely out of your hands, performance and not hitting KPI's always blamed on agents and not the horrendous data (or lack there of) that is provided for us to contact. No accountability from management and their payment scheme is very unfair for the work you actually do

Unity4 are a poor company to work for with hardly no support from supervisors or managers.
The good thingsThere are great sales people who I work with. Very supportive. You are able to work from home.
The challengesVery poor support from supervisors/managers. The only time you hear from them is when your performance is below average. There is no access to reports, so you have no idea how you are travelling on a weekly basis. You will only receive an email with performance 2-3 times during the campaign duration. Unity4 are very unreliable when it comes to work hours. Hours can be cut back to 10 - 15 hours a week when data is running low and you may end up having no work from 1 week to 3 weeks without pay. Due to poor data, it is very hard to sell to a voice mail and you will receive at least 100 or more voice mails in an hour.

Great company to work for and staff to work with, I’d 100% recommend this job and business to anyone.
The good thingsVery supportive work culture, both with fellow telemarketers and management. Even though you work from home you are still very connected to the business and very much supported.
The challengesStaying away from the fridge since it’s work from home ;)

once you develop a resilience and realise that you cant let negative people affect you, you never have to see them, the job is very rewarding.
The good thingsInteraction between other Telemarketers
The challengesNo real challenges apart from dealing with negative people that you are calling who can sometimes make a fuss about telemarketers.

Overall, I enjoy the company I work for they offer a lot more home/work balance than other companies and offer a great atmosphere.
The good thingsGreat work life balance, great colleagues and the Team Leaders are wonderful
The challengesKPIs and objection handling however the company provides training in these areas which is great. I am however unhappy with communication levels within the company toward remote agents, sometimes it often feels like your forgotten when they take a week or two to get back to you regarding cross training on alternate campaigns. And if campaigns are ending so often why do they employ new employees when current employees are still waiting to be put on another camp.

Great for those who can drive in a hard sale no matter what
The good thingsYou work from home. You set your work schedule to what you want as long as its over 15hrs per week. You set your own breaks. Weekly team meetings Great team members to work with Admin are friendly and approachable Able to chat with work colleagues in a chat area on the work screen Training is provided
The challengesOrganizing your own work routine and keeping to it, unsupervised Keeping to scheduled breaks and NOT going over the time limit Attaining the quota per day sales targets using the suggested \"objection handling\" Hours reduced drastically if sales targets arent met which makes workers (agents) highly stressed Given three chances of attaining sales targets before final warning No loyalty No reference when u leave No incentives to attain sales targets
